Snarkology Halloween Blog Hop 2015

What do you think of when fall comes to mind? I think of colorful leaves crunching on the ground, cool air, cider, gourds and pumpkins.
In the winter snow, cold air, snowmen, Christmas and hot cocoa come to mind.
Spring brings a sense of renewal and freshness with fresh fruits and veggies from a farmer’s market.
And Summer brings to mind hot weather and playing in the pool.

Each season is special and many of us have one we prefer over another. How about you? Is there a season that is your favorite?

My new series Shifter Seasons is a 4 book collection. Each book will be released during the season it was named after. This series of books that shares the love of shifters throughout the seasons. The books will include the special days of the year we celebrate and more.

The first book in the Shifter Seasons series is Beary Merry Winter.

This book will be featured in the limited edition “Shifter Wonderland Collection” along with the works of eleven other exciting paranormal authors to be released December 2015. Later the book will be released as a stand alone book.

The other authors included are:

Christin Lovell
V. Vaughn
Tasha Black

Kate Kent

Fall reminds me here in vegas of cooler temps occasional rain showers. I live in Las Vegas an there is no real change of colors. This town even has alot of places with fake grass lol. Because i live in the mojev (cant spell lol) dessert we dont see good seasonal fruits an veggys. Every thing is brought in. But i love sweet potatoes an being able to turn on my oven to cook when i dont feel like i am trying to cook me to lol. The summers here temps being over a hundreds daily it just gets to hot to turn on oven. Being on a fixed income of $733 monthly means no ac runing all the time. I love fall because i can open my window an enjoy the cooler temps an then try to take my savings on money to try to stock of some of my needs for next summer like shampoo, soap an cleaners. Fall an if its a mild winter has to be my stock up for the nexkatekentt summer time.

Thanks for the chance to win a gift card. Have already pre-ordered Shifter Wonderland and can’t wait to read the books. I love this time of year because I start my baking by making pumpkin, banana, Apple, and cranberry-Orange breads. Love the color of the leaves turning and being able to read a good book with a cup of hot chocolate.

    I have two actually.
Spring is a new beginning, the smell of fresh earth, the arrival of vibrant green grass shoots sticking out of the earth like whips of fine baby hairs on a newborn. The sprouting of leaves on trees covering the stark bare branches from winters vestiges. The vibrate colors of dozens of blooms awakening in the suns glow.
Winter to me is a magical time of twinkling lights like brilliant jewels spread against a backdrop of pure white reflecting there glow. I hushed silence fills the air with held breath for spring arrival.
Views of snow covered hills, valleys and mountains from frosted window panes reflecting a warm fire and faces enjoying the warmth of family and friends as they gather to celebrate the seasons end. Smells of pine, cinnamon, spices and woodsmoke mingle around a tree with decorations delicately placed handed done from generation to generation, new decorations from special events in their lives, each a special treasue.

I think of the cooler weather mainly. It gets so hot here in the South. I love the leaves changing into those beautiful bright colors before falling off and I love drinking my hot chocolate out on the patio while reading my books.

Fall! Love, love, love it! I saw acute saying and it describes Exactly how I feel about this season! So as I always say, it’s winter in some places year round, it’s summer in many places year round, all I’m asking for is a place where it’s Fall all year round!!!!!!

Already pre-ordered. I love winter, and a wish of mine is to be in a cozy cabin during the Christmas holidays with lots of snow on the ground, plenty of food and drinks for celebrating and surrounded by mountains.

When I think of Halloween I see spooky sights, sounds and lights. Then I see the fun costumes and so much candy that I gain 5 pounds. Needless to say I really enjoy the Halloween season.

I love fall, watching all the beautiful leaves change, planting some colorful mums and having the house open! But I also love spring watching the trees turning all green with leaves, flowers popping up in all the beautiful colors and of course getting to open the windows and air out the stale winter air!
